Join us for the 2nd Annual Taste of Shepherd...a community-wide cook-off and food tasting experience that highlights the homemade flavors and talent of our local residents.
Whether you’re entering a dish or coming to taste and vote, this is a day to bring your family and the community together through great food and friendly fun.
Event Overview
• Local residents voluntarily cook and bring their best homemade dishes
• Attendees taste each dish and vote using three provided tickets
• Votes will determine the top three winners, announced at the end of the event
Admission
• Adults: $10
• Each paid entry includes three voting tickets to cast for first, second, and third place
Prizes
• First Place: Paid weekend Airbnb getaway to Lake Sam Rayburn!
• Second Place: $100 Gift Card
• Third Place: Community

Cook Entry Details
• Entry is free for all cooks
• Prepare one dish that can serve sample portions to approximately 50 guests
• Dishes can be sweet or savory – main courses, side dishes, or desserts are all welcome
• All cooks must register in advance
